The mall

I can't stand how hectic the mall is on a Saturday.  It's insane, really.  People are there for sales, for high fattened foods, and school shopping.  Little kids run aimlessly around their parents and teenagers walk around in packs.  It really makes me wonder why I ever thought the mall was such an amazing and wondrous place when I was younger.  I do have to say though, some stores make me really happy, like Old Navy, where I can find cute shoes (like a pair of gray ballet flats) and cool tops that actually fit.  I even found a pair of high waisted jeans!! I was so excited, but I didn't get them.  FYE remains one of those stores that I either like or hate.  I love their used movie section because you can find really good movies for super low prices sometimes (ditto with their CDs).  What bothers me the most, though, are their old movie section.  Like really, not that many people like those movies anymore.  Only rare people who value them, like me, and I'm sure quite a number of other people, would be searching for them.  I just don't understand why anyone would pay $25 for a movie that you can find at any library (that is NEVER checked out) for free.  I hate when you buy old black and white movies that have been reprocessed with technicolor.  It's so weird.   The colors make sense and all, but you just know color isn't supposed to be there.

In other news, I have gotten to number 21 on the waiting list for Queen of Babble!! Woo.  I'm so excited.  I really hope it goes fast!  I'm so anxious to read it!
