VH1 and other news

The great news of today is...I have no more jury duty!!  I didn't have to go once.  I consider myself lucky and if I fill out the little questionnaire thing, I don't have to go for another four years.  Is that awesome or what?  I'm a little disappointed actually.  I had visions of going into the courthouse, sitting down, listening to a riveting case, and deciding whether or not that person was guilty.  In my vision, however, it was a really controversial case that desperately needed the jury.  But, I live in this tiny county, so nothing that controversial happens, besides robberies and gang fights (which only happened once!).  If I was back at school and lived there permanently, you never know what kind of case I'd have to go to.
Anyway, today I had this amazing chance to laze around and do absolutely nothing, which gave me a chance to watch shows early in the morning (at around 10 or so).  For most people, that's late, but I am still trying to get into a normal cycle (which will only be broken when I get back to school).  VH1, corny as it is, really has its moments sometimes, as shown today by their show "I Love the New Millennium."  It was really funny!  It's like all their other shows, like "I Love the 80s" where they rip apart and make fun of weird fads and trends that happened, except it was only two years ago.  It's hilarious what can be found funny about two years ago since it was so recent.  For an added bonus that made me laugh even more, Ben Lee, one of my sister and I's favorite songwriters, commented on a lot of things, like Borat, and Daniel Powter's song "Bad Day".  If this is ever on, you should definitely tune in.  It made my day very entertaining.
Has anyone heard that new song Pork and Beans by Weezer?  I don't know why, but I find it very good, especially their video for it, which is a very clever compilation of online video stars.  I'm not even that big of a fan of Weezer's new hits.  That Beverly Hills song drives me completely insane.  It's just awful.  I absolutely love the first album (or whatever one it was that my sister gave me).  Buddy Holly will always be one of my favorite songs of all time.  Here's their new song, Pork and Beans.
