I love going to plays. Sometimes, I don't like to admit it, but when I think about it, I love the atmosphere of a theater. I took a Dramatic Arts class in my second semester of college which caused me to have an even bigger appreciation towards the craft. I learned everything about the lighting, the set design, the theater space, and the music. Tonight I got to go to a local venue and see "The Fiddler on the Roof." I had never seen it before even though it has gotten fabulous reviews by everyone I know who have gone to see it. I had an excellent time, even though some acting was amateurish (which is totally understandable since a lot of the actors were young), and the singers were absolutely breathtaking (the lead sounded almost exactly like Nathan Lane). We even won a raffle for two free tickets for any show in the future. In the one song Do You Love Me? my brain instantly fixated on that one scene in Gilmore Girls where Kirk sang it to the little girl. Oh Kirk, you are such a dork, no wonder you were such a good character on that show.
