As I attempt to get used to writing, I've decided to blog about little "nothings" that happen throughout every day.

Anne!
As I was flipping through the pages of Newsweek today, I noticed an article that really made me happy. Anne Shirley was the star of that article, which made me want to crack open my Anne of Green Gables books and read them start to finish (which I haven't done primarily because I don't want to read the end of the whole tale) and then proceed to watch the movies (all three of them) for 12 hours straight. I used to love that series when I was younger (well actually, two years ago) which always left me dreaming of Prince Edward Island and the days of old. That collection really goes to show how amazing a piece of literature truly can be. I wanted to be a different person after that (for like a month). I wanted to live in a town where everyone knew everybody near the ocean side of Canada. I spent an entire summer watching just Anne of Green Gables. Apparently she is turning 100 years old this year, which makes me really sad. I hope that series never gets forgotten.
